Here, you will make an impact by manage a group of PI&CS engineers and staff in support of several engineering groups.  The position will work closely with other Engineering and Technology Managers to build and maintain strong relationships, contribute to the development of strategic and operational plans for the organization, maintain and advance the technical competency of the group, participate on engineering committees and teams, and provide leadership, coaching and direction for direct reports.As a Technology Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Providing engineering resources and support for manufacturing, laboratory, and other areas of responsibilityResponsible for staffing, workload forecasting, and succession planning within the groupWork closely with the engineering team to ensure alignment with project objectivesContributing to the development of corporate engineering resources and technical expertise through the recruiting, hiring, and ongoing training of group personnelManaging the creation, development, and application of technology to meet future business needsIdentifying and addressing gaps in technical expertisePlaying a key role in generating and maintaining 3M's intellectual propertyProviding direct supervision to assigned employees through leadership, coaching, training and development, allocating work assignments, review of progress in achievingYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of (8) eight years in a private, public, government or military environment experienceHigh School Diploma/GED and a minimum twelve (12) experience in a private, public, government or military environment experienceAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Prior supervisory or other leadership experience of a technical organizationProficiency in at least one control systems engineering technologyWorking knowledge of the SOLVENTUM Engineering organizationExperience with or knowledge of capital project management systems and toolsProficient in the use of corporate software systems such as Workday, Global Engineering Tools (GET), SAP CONCUR, sourcing payment systems and contract languageWork location:  Remote-United StatesTravel: May include up to 20% [domestic/international]Relocation Assistance: Is authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
