About the Role:

  • To develop and refine models to improve the accuracy and efficiency of simulations thereby enabling better predictions and evaluations for various applications.">
  • To build and leverage predictive models to use in medical device development.">
  • To collaborate across R&D to drive projects and influence uptake of simulations.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Currrently pursuing a doctoral degree from an accredited institution in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering or related discipline with a focus on modeling & simulation.">
  • Experience with FEA and/or CFD methodologies in healthcare relevant applications.">
  • Experience scripting (R, Python, Golang, shell) and automating simulations.">
  • Strong scientific and technical acumen, with demonstrated interest and ability to make connections between science/technology and real-world concerns.">
  • Leadership qualities such as excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation), networking skills, self-motivation, and self-direction.">
