Job Summary Data Governance SME to develop Policy in Support Privacy and Security Responsibilities Data Ownership Stewardship · Responsibility for various data domains ensuring that only authorized individuals can manage specific datasets · Designated personnel to enforce policies on data access privacy and quality across FM Globals systems · Data Classification · Data classification based on sensitivity eg personally identifiable information PII financial records health information · Access restrictions depending on the classification and role based access policies ensuring least privilege access Data Security Framework · Continuous monitoring protocols to ensure that any unauthorized access or changes to data are detected early using tools · Procedures for managing data breaches and privacy violations · Automated and secure backup policies for data retention and disaster recovery · Data Access and Privacy Control · Access controls based on roles for employees with proper authorization · Encryption for data both at rest and in transit · Data masking techniques for nonauthorized users · Anonymization techniques are in place for analytics · Compliance and Auditing · Data governance policy supports compliance with HIPAA SOX GDPR CCPA and other applicable industryspecific regulations · Audit trails for every action performed on sensitive data including access modifications and deletions Data Lifecycle Management · Policy for securely ingesting new data · Long term archiving strategies for records that need to be retained for compliance or business needs · Procedures for secure and compliant data deletion Essential Skills · AIPP Certification or equivalent · Regulatory Knowledge Data and Information Security Directive · Enterprise Risk Management · Professional Assurance · Stakeholder Engagement · Project Management Privacy and Information Security tools. The annual salary for this position is between $[125,000 – 135,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
