And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.The SBN Operations team is looking for an Infrastructure Ops Technician to join our expanding Central Infra Ops team. Infrastructure Ops Technicians work with established best practices to refine operational procedures and develop new tooling to support our networks.If you would like supporting and deploying large scale, enterprise class networks, we’d like to meet you. Your work will deliver the configuration and overall health of our infrastructure services for Amazonians and to assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our infrastructure operations as we expand.Travel: Extensive travel will be required in 2024, but will be limited in 2025 and beyondKey job responsibilitiesThe position’s responsibilities involve installation, configuring, monitoring and resolving of issues with infrastructure hardware, configuration and network connectivity in Amazon corporate offices around the world. That’s why you’ll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- BS in STEM area preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science, may be coupled with certifications to include CCNA, JNCIA + industry experience or 2+ year’s IT systems or relevant experience.- 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Compute (Server and virtual machines. Wintel/*nix), Networking (Fundamentals - Cisco CCNA or equivalent), Scripting (automation).- 2+ years of experience as a network engineer and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment with hands on experience with physical infrastructure installations including hardware integration, racking, and cablingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years’ hands on experience on Cisco routers/switches/firewalls.- Experience working with data and telecom carriers to procure, deliver, and activate network circuits- Experience administering, deploying or supporting Aruba wireless network equipment- Demonstrated track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environmentAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
