The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth.In this role, you will gain many skills, such as critical thinking and problem solving, the ability to communicate complicated problems in a concise manner, solve complex problems, and be part of a talented litigation support and eDiscovery technical team.Primary ResponsibilitiesParticipate in teleconferences or technical meetings to review, educate, and support program objectives;Perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting using current engineering documentation;Record configurations change requests through the established change control board;Process storage requests, migrations and decommission tasks;Monitor failed system components and coordinate logistics, vendor support, and site support as needed;Respond to monitoring alerts and warnings with prompt corrective actions and escalations;Complete all scheduled maintenance in accordance with established policies and procedures;Prevent data loss or storage system outages by exercising a high level of attention to detail during maintenance;Manage technology in remote environments;Review and process tickets related to supported system according to the established service level agreements tracked within the service manager database;Provide initial response, Level 1 and Level 2 escalation for outages;Schedule maintenance actions in a timely manner;Create Power Shell and VBS scripts as needed to automate routine maintenance tasks;Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and systems;Review system and application logs to verify completion of scheduled jobssuch as backups;Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis; upgrade administrative tools and utilities; upgrade end user applications;Configure / add new services as necessary;Facilitate the migration of the system implementation into cloud infrastructures.Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks;Prepare and review technical assessments to include required tasks, estimated time frames, and effort for any scope project;Provide before/ or after core hour work as required.Basic QualificationsMinimum of 7 years of Systems Engineer/Administrator experienceMinimum of 5 years of previous experience in architecture and design of complex high-available systemsArchitectural level experience with multi-site DAG and Exchange stretch cluster technology for exchangeActive Clearance: Top Secret with SSBI and ability to obtain SCI clearance.Possess at least 3 years of Veritas eDiscovery version 10 or industry recognized review platform Experience.System administration knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016, 2019 and Microsoft O365.Experience administrating and supporting Microsoft Windows server 2012/2016/2019 in a large physical and virtual infrastructure.Full understanding of DNS, WINS, DHCP, and LDAP compliant directories.Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure/Amazon AWS) and network architecture.Experience with VMware virtualization administration and tools, Vsphere console, and a firm understanding of virtualized infrastructure concepts.Disaster recovery and ancillary messaging components.In-depth knowledge of email archival systems messaging systems, system administration and architecture expertise.Demonstrated ability to work independently with high level of initiative and excellent troubleshooting skills; as well as work in a team environment.Demonstrated experience showing excellent communication skills and experience presenting and training technical concepts to various audiences within the FBI.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience working in a Federal Government environment.Original Posting Date:2024-08-28While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
