Join our team As a Systems Security Engineer III, you will be using your skills and expertise to design, test, and implement our secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, and tuning. You'll be responsible for the management of our IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, and developing and implementing security controls. You'll research, evaluate, and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies in alignment with our IT security strategy and introduce them to the enterprise.In this role, you will maintain a critical Contractor to Government (C2G) classified system supporting multiple SNC/USG programs as the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) of record. You will help our USG sponsors accelerate cutting edge technology implementations while enhancing collaboration with industry partners. As part of a larger Systems Security Engineering and Cybersecurity team, you will be introduced the leading trends, capabilities and practices in our field.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. https://www.sncorp.com/company/business-areas/Responsibilities:Appointed as ISSO for CFR 32 (NISPOM) and NISP eMASS oversight and complianceLead STIG compliance and Cybersecurity Operational Readiness effortsLead Windows Active Directory, User Account, GPO & Client administrationMaintain and review SIEM via SplunkMaintain Certificate Revocation & Token based authenticationNavigate Vulnerability Management via Tenable Security Center and/or NessusNavigate NSA Type 1 Encryption functionality and complianceNavigate Firewall, Router and Switch functionality and STIG complianceMust-haves:Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 6 years of relevant experienceRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationCurrent/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security ClearancePreferred:TS/SCI with PolygraphDCSA ExperienceISSM CAP, CISSP, or CISM CertificationISSE CAP, CISSP-ISSEP CertificationISSO Security+, CISA, or CASP+ CertificationMCSE, Linux, and/or CCNP Security CertificationSNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.IMPORTANT NOTICE: This position requires current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance.
