Job Title: Cloud System Administrator

Mantis Security Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Cloud System Administrator to join our team of experts. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our cloud-based systems, ensuring the security and integrity of our data, and providing exceptional support to our users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the stability and performance of our cloud infrastructure, including monitoring system resources and responding to issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain critical documentation, including system configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services and infrastructure with other IT systems and applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud computing, system administration, and security.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including CentOS, RHEL, and Oracle.
  • Experience working in AWS environment and familiarity with console access to provision, maintain, and monitor servers.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and Tier 1 communication skills.
  • Security+ or other IAT II/III level certification that is currently active.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Agile scrum teams.
  • Experience with ElasticSearch.
  • Cloud (EC2s, S3, Elasticache), Kafka, Openshift, Docker, Keycloak, Wildfly.
  • PKI certificates, SSL, service accounts.
  • Maintaining multiple environment types (physical, virtual, cloud).
