Here, you will make an impact by:Developing products to drive growthWorking on new technologies and transforming into new product platformsParticipating on multi-functional teams and assisting to build ideation hoppers and implement projectsSupport and provide expertise/consulting when required on Product Change Management InitiativesYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of experience in formulating and designing composites, adhesives, sealants, and fire stopping products within private, public, government, or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Ph.D. or M.Sc. degree in Polymer/Materials/Chemistry in either Science or Engineering from an accredited institutionPast experience in working with third party standards and specificationsPast experience in designing and/or running fire-stopping product testing and knowledge of systems and assemblies certificationSkills include strong acumen for problem-solving, communication, teamwork, innovation and commercialization mindsetReview the following for more information on commercial product portfolio: Firestop Products and Systems | 3MWork location: 3M Headquarters in Woodbury, MN or London, ONTravel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
