A facility near Detroit, MI is seeking a Child Psychiatrist who can provide long term coverage starting as soon as possible. A Child Psychiatrist can expect to be assigned and responsible for between 14-18 patients within their assigned unit. This is a full-time position requiring the provider to work Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling hours.
Qualifications:
- A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school of medicine and Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- One year experience as a pediatric psychiatrist in a mental health clinic, correctional facility, or inpatient psychiatric hospital.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and the treatment team.
- Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid Michigan license
- DEA license to prescribe controlled substances.
- Must possess a Michigan Controlled Substance License.
