Job Description Warehouse Operator - Kennesaw, GAThe Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager including checking inbound receipts, preparing outbound shipments and maintaining inventory counts. 1st shift and 2nd shift hours available. Starting wage: $19/hourA Warehouse Operator must conform to the Deerland Enzymes Core Values-Passion for Our Employees' and Customers' Success and SatisfactionQuality is Everyone's ResponsibilityAchieving Our Committed Goals is a GivenEthics and Integrity - No Short-CutsSafety is a Critical Priority and Fundamental to Our CultureTEAM WORK - Together We're BetterMAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:Must be an experienced forklift operator with a valid fork lift licenseMust be able to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient mannerMust be able to follow all Warehouse SOPs including Material Receipt, Processing Sales Orders, Personal Hygiene, etc.Must be able to execute warehouse transactions (bin movements) using handheld scanner.Must be able to maintain clean and neat warehouse areaAdhere to company rules and safe work practices within the department.EducationMinimum - High School DiplomaExperiencePrevious experience in a manufacturing environment (GMP experience preferred) Specific skillsCommunication Skills - Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondance and memos.
Must be able to write simple correspondance.
Must be able to effectively present information to other employees.Mathmatical Skills - Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Reasoning Ability - Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Must have the ability to handle problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.Physical Demands - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the major accountabilities of this job.
