This position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESFabrication of needed parts or materialsRepair machinery and facilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on equipmentInstall and test new equipmentResponsible for keeping the production machinery running with minimum downtimeResponsible for maintaining repairs to the facilitiesComplete paperwork in a timely and legible mannerFollow safety policies/procedures including wearing necessary PPEFollow attendance policy and other policies PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONSRequired to stand, sit, walk for long periods of timeFrequent use of hands for simple firm, grasping and writingOccasional bending, stopping, reaching, and climbingOccasional Lifting, carrying 5 pounds to 50 poundsOccasionally using cutting utensils (I.E Knives, peeler, etc.)Exposure to product fumes such as onions, peppers etc.Exposure to varying temperatures of 45 degrees or lessExposure to chemicals such as chlorine, etc.Works overtime as requiredOther duties as required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEPossess verbal and written communication skillsExperience in fresh food or production environment2+ year of maintenance experienceHigh School Diploma or GED preferredMust have own transportationMust have a working knowledge of English languageBasic Mathematical abilitiesAbility to interact across departments   COMPANY BENEFITS/PERKS401(k)Health, Dental, Vision Insurance and morePaid Time Off (PTO)The company (Pero) reserves the right to alter, amend, expand or contract these duties and responsibilities as the companies needs evolve.
