Are you up for the dare?This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.POSITION SUMMARYAs a Calibration Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of various measuring and testing equipment used in our manufacturing facility. Your primary job is to validate the calibration process equipment, manage tool calibrations, and adjust as required to meet the required standards and specifications. Additionally, you will manage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and calibration systems, have a good understanding of measurement principles and be familiar with various calibration standards and procedures. Conduct tests and inspections to verify the accuracy and functionality of equipment.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.Document calibration procedures, results, and maintaining accurate records of all calibration activities ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.Manage calibration/validation workload to ensure compliance, utilizing CMMS system and Calibration software.Collaborate with the Quality department and other professionals to develop and improve calibration procedures and techniques.Provide technical support for other maintenance activities as directed by Team Leader, including performing routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks on all assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance.Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to calibration and Maintenance techniques and equipment.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, industrial, military, or related environment OR a 2-year technical degreeThe hourly pay for this position is $31.25 an hour.
