This role will utilize technical expertise to make operational and, or strategic decisions based on the condition of equipment or other factors; properly record work performed and communicated using the tools and processes provided, such as accountability of time and materials used.Duties & Responsibilities Ensure automated warehousing system is operating effectively and efficiently by actively monitoring, assessing, and repairing, as needed Perform planned preventative maintenance of automation equipment to prevent downtime or reduction in efficiency Maintain facility equipment in both a corrective and preventative capacity Support of the operation in a variety of functions within the facility Report and communicate work performed, recommended, or required Perform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities Electrical experience Basic understanding of PLCs Ability to utilize software platforms to perform the required reporting and administrative elements of the position: SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook Ability to execute and communicate effectively and with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day and lift, up-to 50 poundsMinimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school Knowledge acquired through 1-3 years of work experience 2+ years maintenance experience in a production, facility, or automation environment Understanding of electrical safetyPreferred Qualifications 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering Electrical experienceWork EnvironmentNoisy and non-temperature-controlled environmentAs an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status..
