Job Description:

Employee will abide by Company rules and regulations, including all Good Manufacturing & SQF Practices. *
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. *
Dismantles devises to gain access to and remove defective parts. *
Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. *
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. *
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. *
Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and clean parts. *
Start devices to test their performance. *
Sets up and operates lathe, mill, drill press, grinder, welders, and other metal working tools to make and repair parts. *
Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical devices. *
Generates and fills out all necessary forms and paperwork. *
Report any safety concerns to the supervisor on duty, or the safety committee representative. Immediately Report all injuries to the supervisor on duty and fill out the appropriate paperwork. *
Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

OUR INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO $30.00/hr, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
3rd Shift: 9pm - 5am

High school diploma or GED preferred *
Three years of experience required in a maintenance role within a food or beverage manufacturing facility. *
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks. *
Minimum one year experience with one or more technical experiences:
Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVAC. *
Minimum one year experience with a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment. *
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. *
Must be able to handle basic hand tools. *
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift; occasionally required to climb or balance. *
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
*
Must be able to work in a cold, wet environment with moderate to high noise volume. *
May experience some exposure to fumes airborne particles, chemicals or allergens. *
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holiday.
