These initiatives are specifically designed to ensure regulatory compliance, protect reputation, limit liability, prevent operational disruptions, build ops reliability/resilience, and ultimately, protect life, environment, and property. Initiatives consist of some, but not all the following items.Roles/Responsibilities:Perform regulatory vessel surveys and Cat 3 vessel SIREsComplete third-party marine terminal inspections and barge fleet assessments.Conduct vessel and management TSMS AuditsMonitor and analyze risk/performance trends Support internal TMSAConduct Third Party Vessel Operator Management AuditsPerform Third Party Operator, Vessel and Fleet vetting.Support marine casualty investigationsServes as a marine consultant to internal stakeholdersFacilitate and support safety practices/risk assessments and Management of ChangeLiaison with Coast Guard, ABS, and other stakeholders on compliance and assurance matters.Experience:Individual must have a previous survey, inspection, and/or audit experience, and 5 years of related terminal or vessel operations experience.Prior Coast Guard marine inspection and operational experience or industry credentialed/operational experience will be considered. Merchant mariners with previous surveying and auditing experience are encouraged to apply.Requirement:High school diploma or GED. A college diploma is preferred but not required.
