Job Description Enterprise Technical Architect - Service EngineeringErlanger, KYThis is a full-time, exempt position.The Technical Architect for Service Engineering will combine expertise in technology design and development across modern application, integration, data, and security architectures.
This position is an architect and developer in the cross-functional Service Teams of ADM's Cloud Center or Excellence, dedicated to building cloud services as automated tools to be used by our IT teams.
This position requires experience in using front-end and back-end development technologies and frameworks.
This is an important role in a strategic organization of a Fortune 50 company.This is an Architect-level position within ADM's Enterprise Architecture team.
It requires communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with detail-level IT engineers, developers, and architects.Job Responsibilities Lead or the design and development of cloud native applications Lead the definition of Front-end relatedtechnology'sroadmaps, standards, and reference architecturesTake accountability for solution requirement definitions, conceptual, and high- and low-level design artifact generationSupport ADM's emerging Cloud CoEResearch, experiment, and prototype new cloud application services and drive their architecture design and build as IAC capabilities, their integration into Enterprise automation workflows and tools, and exposing them to self-service portalsManage adherence to defined architecture standards throughout the Application development lifecycleProvide subject matter expertise to design, develop, and implement complex architecture in alignment with Enterprise Architecture's direction and standardsMaintain knowledge of industry trends and utilize this knowledge to educate both IT and the business on opportunities to build better target architectures that support and drive business decisionsSupport IT Enterprise governance functions (RFI's, vendor risk assessments, etc...)Job Requirements 5+ years of IT experience5+ Years of building solutions using modern application design patterns including Single-Page Applications, microservices, and RESTful architectures3+ years of IT technical design experience overall (either exclusively or across applications, data, cloud infrastructure, networks, or security)2+ Years of Application development experience using Microsoft development platforms1+ Years of solution technical design involving Microsoft Azure, including both high-level solution design, and detailed technical designAbility to generate conceptual and high level architecture design artifacts Understanding of network architectureUnderstanding of security architecture and identity managementKnowledge of Azure data platforms and servicesExperience with Agile methodology: Scrum, DevOps, Continuous Development/Continuous Integration, and automated test tools Experience developing cloud solutions using Azure services such as App Service, Active Directory, Azure Functions, API Management, Application Gateway, Logic Apps, and AKS Experience with Front-End technologies such as Typescript, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, StorybookExperience in software development using a variety of languages such as C#, Java, and PythonExperience with Containerization using Docker and orchestration platformsExperience with Source Code Management tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN, GitlabGood knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOpsStrong interpersonal collaboration skills and ability to work across technology domainsStrong verbal skills and ability to communicate both upward and downStrong technical design skillsRelocation assistance may be available with this position.This position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life and dental insurance.ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
