ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Project Manager role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality information systems-specific projects using Waterfall methodologies. As a mid-level professional with extensive knowledge and experience in project management principles and information systems leading practices, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of various information systems projects. The incumbent in this role will be responsible for identifying project requirements, setting project objectives, and identifying project DT stakeholders. They will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including technical teams, business teams, application programmers, and leaders. The incumbent will coordinate work performed by DT stakeholders by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments and will work with the team to implement new project management tools and techniques. This role requires expertise in project management and information system methodologies. The incumbent will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They will be responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary skills, resources, and support to successfully complete projects.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:Develop and maintain project management tasks for internal information systems-specific projects, including project planning, defining requirements, scheduling, tracking, and resource management tools​Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion on schedule, within budget, and with high quality deliverables​Establish project scope by analyzing project requirements, setting project objectives, and identifying project stakeholders​Prepare and monitor project budgets and monitor project costs in order to ensure cost-effectiveness​Coordinate and track work performed by IT project team members to ensure completion on time and within budgetIdentify, track, and manage project risks, issues, changes, and dependencies and escalate as required​Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to senior management, key stakeholders, and project sponsors including project status, budget, progress, risks, and scope​Develop and implement project quality control and quality assurance processes​Liaise with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives​Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in project management methodologies, information systems, and technologies​This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.
