Safety Specialist

PC is seeking a dynamic Safety Specialist to lead the company’s safety initiatives in the Vermont region. You will be responsible for implementing and living PC’s “Safety Starts With Me Culture”. You will also be a key member of our safety team, working with superintendents and project managers to ensure a best in class EMR through a combination of compliance, enforcement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure PC’s safety policies are in accordance with OSHA and other safety regulations and company standards.
- Assist project teams in the preparation of site-specific safety programs.
- Communicate all company safety initiatives to ensure the highest level of awareness.
- Conduct New Employee Safety Orientations.
- Assist staff in the oversight of site safety.
- Help resolve safety-related matters.
- Help develop an overall culture of safety with a focus on people.
- Conduct safety performance meetings with administrative staff.
- Evaluate the status of required training.
- Conduct training or arrange outside training resources on policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
