The Program Assistant will develop strong relationships with residents, their families and within the community.

Experience in event planning and project management will also contribute to the success of the selected candidate. Individuals must conduct business professionally and in accordance with the mission and values of our organization.

Essential Job Functions: Responsible for Assisting Coordinating Activities for Residents

  1. Helps to plan programs that motivate and involve residents in a healthy lifestyle
  2. Coordinates activities with other departments
  3. Prepares sign-up sheets for activities
  4. Completes needed paperwork
  5. Decorates for programs
  6. Prepares necessary supplies for crafts activities
  7. Participates in the programs
  8. Takes pictures during activities to send to the Main Office for inclusion in the website
  9. Coordinates special events and open houses as needed
  10. Assists in maintaining a Resident Ambassador program to assist with Leasing & Marketing efforts
  11. Encourages and maintains resident volunteer programs
  12. Maintains resident activity files
  13. Properly stores and maintains activity supplies
  14. Decorates the site for the holidays with the maintenance staff
