*Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including acute care and memory care facilities. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe environment. A strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation is beneficial for success in this position.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
* Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
* Provide care to patients with diverse needs in acute care and memory care settings.
* Lift and transfer patients safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
* Document patient care activities accurately in medical records using eClinicalWorks or similar systems.
* Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient conditions and any changes observed.
* Support the use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed for patient mobility and comfort.

*Skills*
* Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
* Knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
* Ability to lift patients safely while adhering to proper body mechanics.
* Familiarity with anatomy knowledge to understand patient needs better.
* Experience in medical documentation practices to ensure accurate record-keeping.
* Understanding of acute care protocols to provide appropriate support in high-demand environments.
* Compassionate approach towards patients, especially those requiring memory care assistance.
