This role requires physical inventory work and strong spreadsheet skills. The role is suited for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and eager to support the Logistics operations for our client. As this is an onsite role in a client office, we are looking for a candidate who understands the client-vendor relationship and possesses a professional attitude and excellent work ethic. Certain schedule requirements may apply. Role Responsibilities: Be a key point of contact for all incoming user issues and questions Work with cross functional team members to help troubleshoot devices Support multiple projects and teams at a time Follow intake procedure for New Devices Follow proper procedure for Device Requests Process Device Returns to Inventory Regulate and sort inbound and outbound mail for our team Create and pack boxes for outbound shipments Create FedEx shipping labels and schedule FedEx Pick Ups Make sure all requested devices arrive in a timely manner Process international shipments Clean, label, and organize office space and inventory rooms Prepare, set up and hand over devices at the counter per client engineering specs, and prepare packages for shipment to ensure project launches on time and devices are ready to be used by field teams Ensure requests and statuses are kept updated in inventory system Ensure all devices are returned as expected Inspect devices to ensure compliance by vendor teams as per returns guidelines Responsible for conducting physical inventory audits by following established procedures and ensuring accurate inventory counts. Record all movements accurately in the inventory system Ensure discrepancies between physical inventory count and counts in Inventory System are addressed timely Regular sync ups with Inventory Manager to ensure physical inventory count matches with that shown in system Help the team (or related teams) when need arises to improve overall client satisfaction Does not generate customer escalations. Adhere to Quality Expectations at all times Experience / Skills: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and thorough workstyle Hands-on knowledge with Linux (comfortable in the terminal/console with SSH experience) Able to use VSCode to remotely debug collection stations Able to read/edit JSON files (if database needs editing) Able to quickly understand and get familiar with custom Hardware solutions Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate issues with detailed reproduction steps to stakeholders with various degrees of technical knowledge Able to provide feedback when new hardware doesn’t meet expectations (w.r.t., fit, hardware quality, comparing with previous iteration to determine differences) Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment with minimum supervision and a high degree of autonomy Must be a self starter, with willingness to embrace change, quickly learn new technologies, work closely as a member of cross functional teams, and be open to new ideas and processes Able to fulfill / complete deliverables within area of responsibility within set timelines Additional Preferred Skills/Qualifications Experience in Logistics and Inventory processes Able to lift up to 50 Pounds Strong Communication skills Experience working in digital/technology companies with tech products Have a strong understanding and passion for technology and enjoy keeping up to date on the current trends Knowledge and interest in AR/VR Salary and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 - $21.65 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
