As part of a creative, forward-thinking team, you will help shape solutions to make the world safer, healthier, and more efficient. As a Solution Architect, you will work with business development, research and development, and other subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions to be delivered on programs, in proposals, or on research and development projects. In addition to developing solutions, you will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential problems.YOUR MAIN OBJECTIVE:In coordination with program teams and CABA Operations leadership, identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve full cyber capabilities resulting in increased contract growth and improved customer satisfactionEnhance Leidos best practices, lessons learned, and technological approaches to research, design, and develop innovative solutions to support operational cyber missionsPartner with the Business Development team to support new business strategies, including the development of technical solutions, basis of estimates, white papers, industry relationships, and responses to RFIs and RFPsSupport the Business Development team with customer calls and the Leidos’ corporate business development process for larger opportunitiesStrengthen existing programs with application of technology and/or innovation by working with peer Operations teams, Group CTOs, and other Leidos Groups, and by leveraging known technology and solutions on current programs and new businessUnderstand competitor and teammate technologyAssess and mentor the technical talent and solution architects in the organization to meet the current and future (new market) businessBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Experience as a technical leader on government contracts. Experience should include both offensive and defensive cyber operations.Awareness of leading technology capability providers that enhance our technical solutionsExperience as a solution architect and/or technical volume lead on captures and proposalsExperience articulating complex technical concepts to customers, business development, program delivery, technical teams, and executives, both orally and in writingBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM discipline with 17+ years of experience related to software development and/or systems engineering. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered.US citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Record of generating business growth through insertion of innovation and technology on existing programsVulnerability research or software reverse engineering skillsOperating System and Kernel level development experiencePrior experience as lead SA on a $100M+ proposalExperience having worked successful partnerships with suppliers on proposalsUnderstanding of competitor/teammate technology offeringsRecord of attracting and retaining technical professionalsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM disciplineOriginal Posting Date:2024-06-20While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
