This role includes managing staff, coordinating repairs, maintaining records, and optimizing costs.Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To: Supervise Maintenance Operations: Manage day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure fleet safety and reliability.Staff Management: Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance personnel; ensure adherence to company policies.Inter-Department Collaboration: Communication with transportation department to align fleet readiness with business needs.Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet safety and operational standards.Budget Management: Monitor repair costs, approve expenses, and control inventory.Vendor Coordination: Establish relationships with suppliers for parts and service.Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.Performance Monitoring: Track fleet performance metrics and implement improvements.Process Standardization and Support: Develop and implement standardized maintenance procedures across locations, providing support to teams in other areas as needed.QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience5 years experience in MD/HD commercial fleet maintenance or a related field.Strong leadership and communication skills.Knowledge of compliance regulations.Budgeting and cost control experience.Fleet management software experience a plus.Supplemental Information:This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
