We strive to foster an environment of collaboration, innovation and application... and we would love to have you on our team As a Network Systems Engineer, you will...Lead a variety of systems engineering activities for existing and future communications systems from concept development through engineering development and operations and maintenance.Analyze system-level behaviors and system of systems interactions and recommend improvements to support communications missions.Detail work in technical reports and memoranda and present outcomes to sponsors and the technical community.Interact with technical specialists in other fields as part of a multidisciplinary team.Provide mentorship to support early career staff growth and development. QualificationsYou meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...Possess a Bachelor's degree in information technology/science, computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or another related technical field.Have at least ten years of relevant experience engineering DoD network and software systems of systems.Are proficient in detailing network, software, and system designs through interface control documents, system description documents, capability description documents, and other system artifacts.Are familiar with foundational computer networking technology such as routers, switches, and security appliances.Are willing and able to travel periodically, up to 10%.Are able to obtain an Interim Top Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a TS/SCI level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information.
