As a Contract Administrator - Level 5 (Staff), your role at Dulles, VA will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Ready to join forces with our visionary team?The Staff Contract Administrator will produce high quality Contract Management related products supporting the NGSP Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD) Space Security Systems (SPS) programs. This position requires a basic understanding of DOD contracting, excellent communication skills, strong technology acumen in M365, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a team player; but also, a strong independent contributor with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.In this job, you will:Administers, extends, negotiates, and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress and other reports.Advises management of contractual rights and obligationsOther duties as assignedIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our teamYour Expertise - Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 10+ years of professional experienceWill consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeStrong technical acumen in M365Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and effectively bring projects to completion.An In-depth knowledge of FAR and DFAR and experience with different contract typesExtensive Proposal Support is a plus.Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/accessWhat Sets You Apart: Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.An In-depth knowledge of UCCExperience supporting ECPs and REAsExtensive Proposal Support is a plus.NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM)About Tactical Space Systems: Provider of small-and-medium class satellites for commercial and government customers and pioneer in human and robotic in-space satellite servicing and logistics systems. We support 4 orbits of satellites and national security and space security systems. About Business Management: Integration of sector financial/business strategies to support of company and sector-wide objectives, including accounting operations, contracts management, pricing and estimating, compliance and asset and property management.Salary Range: $141,400.00 - $212,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
