NOC Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide a team of technical experts responsible for supporting network infrastructure operations.
• Adapt to a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks based on evolving needs and rapid growth.
• Collaborate with teams across networking, managed services, and IT security.
• Establish metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of incident management processes.
• Monitor and manage network operations, including core distribution, access networks, and fault management.
• Report on daily network operations center call volume and service level agreements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, technical user guides, and customer contact databases.
• Create method of procedures, configuration scripts, and documentation for network maintenance.
• Coordinate and resolve operational events that impact system and application availability.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunication engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, ITIL.
• 7-10 years of experience in network administration, engineering, or troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a network operations center.
• Knowledge of network protocols: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VLANs.
• Expertise in networking concepts, IP addressing, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Strong understanding of DHCP, DNS, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Experience managing ticket escalations and coordinating support.
