Job Profile Summary

As an Engineer, Network Operations, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing telecommunications networks to meet the organization's communication needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining data networks, including LANs, WANs, and other network infrastructure
  • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal network operation and minimal downtime
  • Configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Collaborating with network architects and other teams to plan and implement network upgrades and expansions
  • Managing network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and policies
  • Conducting regular network audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
  • Providing technical support and training to other Network staff and end users as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Years Experience: 2 - 4 Yrs
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Proven experience in network engineering and data operations, including hands-on experience with network protocols, technologies, and tools
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network security
  • Experience with troubleshooting and configuration management of Juniper Routers and Firewalls in a service provider environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Experience with network standards and golden configurations
  • Experience with vendor management and vendor software upgrade procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable
  • Telecommunications network experience
  • Familiarity with VoIP ,SIP, WDM technologies
  • Experience with Fiber and Fixed Wireless broadband service vendors: Adtran, Tarana, and Nokia
