Travel: This may be required during important project phases if working remotely.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to assist with various IT infrastructure projects, including Security Operations Center (SOC) initiatives and a company-wide Windows 11 rollout. This individual will also support the configuration and updates for Microsoft Intune and M365 and will provide general support for escalations from the Service Desk as needed. The focus will be on project work with occasional support duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Windows 11 Rollout: Assist in the deployment and troubleshooting of Windows 11 across the organization.
  • Microsoft Expertise: Provide server administration and configuration support for Microsoft 365 (M365) and Windows 11 environments.
  • Intune/M365 Configuration: Assist in configuring and updating Microsoft Intune and M365 settings for optimal security and performance.
  • VMware Horizon VDI: Work with VMware Horizon (VDI/Instant Clones) for virtual desktop management (not required but a strong plus).
  • SOC Project Support: Collaborate on the Security Operations Center (SOC) service provider transition project, ensuring a smooth implementation.
  • General Support: Offer additional support for escalated issues from the Service Desk as needed, focusing on project-related work.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Expertise in Windows Server Administration, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 (M365).
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune configuration and management.
  • Familiarity with VMware Horizon VDI (Instant Clone experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security and system administration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide escalation support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified (MCSA, MCSE) or VMware Certified are preferred but not required.
