Electrical Engineer II

just got some really good information on the EE role to pass along
The hiring manager said he wishes he could clone this candidate
This candidate got a job with the client of Lema and they said his profile was perfect
I learned that Scott has to approve any rate changes but at the end of the day they have too much of a workload on Jalen right now to be able to fullfill their contracts with NATO, and others. I don't know that the person's resume will demonstrate "Global Power requirements," But he said that the missing skillset they have is basically someone who knows Africa's, US, and Military power requirements (which are all different electrical standards). They probably will be ok if someone is an expert in just 1 of the areas not all 3. In this role the EE hired will be designing the system to work with a 24 volt battery. They need someone that can understand the correct calculations as well as knowing the right tools based on different Global Power Standards. He said this is not a Utilities Power guy. It's more like 3M or someone who works with designing power systems. There is enough pressure on them now that we probably can sub someone over rate and that will only take direct hire. Having 3 Phase Power he said isn't a hard requirement, he said that 3 Phase Power is the Military Standard that they utilize.
