Senior Pricing Analyst The Ascendancy Group's Mission To be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions. Overview The Senior Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in developing, analyzing, and presenting cost and pricing strategies for federal government proposals. This position supports high-visibility bids and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing is competitive, compliant, and aligned with company goals. Security Requirement: The ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance is required. Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop and analyze pricing models for prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and modifications • Collaborate with team to define Price to Win targets and competitive positioning • Interpret and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents • Prepare cost volumes, pricing narratives, and basis of estimates (BOEs) • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and company estimating systems • Coordinate with proposal managers, finance, contracts, and technical teams • Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions • Support DCAA audits and forward pricing rate submissions • Maintain pricing tools, templates, and historical data for benchmarking Position Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field • 8+ years of experience in federal government pricing and proposal development • Strong understanding of contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M) and pricing strategies • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost modeling tools • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines • Familiarity with DCAA audit processes • Knowledge of indirect rate structures and cost allocation methods • Ability to write persuasive and compliant cost narratives • Experience in Price to Win methods and competitive assessments The Ascendancy Group (TAG) was founded on and thrives based on relationships, reputation, and trust.
