We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect with a strong background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce CRM to join our team for a 12-month contract engagement. The Salesforce Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the business needs of a leading health insurance provider. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce architecture, with a focus on optimizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to drive customer engagement, data management, and integration with other business systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the lead architect for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce CRM, designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Work closely with marketing, business, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, define strategy, and create architecture blueprints for Salesforce solutions.
  • Provide architectural guidance and best practices for the implementation, customization, and optimization of SFMC components such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Audience Builder.
  • Lead the design and integration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flows and enhanced customer engagement strategies.
  • Define and implement data architecture and data integration strategies, focusing on segmentation, personalization, and automation of marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, providing technical leadership and ensuring adherence to best practices and governance policies.
  • Ensure platform security and compliance with healthcare industry regulations, including HIPAA, when handling sensitive data.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce features, tools, and technologies, recommending solutions that improve business processes and customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and Salesforce support teams to address complex technical challenges and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Provide detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and integration blueprints.
  • Support the development of dashboards and reports to measure the performance and effectiveness of Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce CRM.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions for large organizations, preferably in the health insurance or healthcare industry.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Audience Builder.
  • Strong understanding of data management, integration patterns, and marketing automation within Salesforce ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud API, AMPscript, SQL, and Salesforce Flow to build custom integrations and automation.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, governance, security, and compliance standards, particularly in healthcare (HIPAA, CAN-SPAM).
  • Experience with Salesforce development tools (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components) and third-party integration platforms (Mulesoft, Heroku, etc.).
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Application Architect are highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
