JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Center Engineer to lead the efforts in installation, monitoring, and maintenance of our data center facilities in Austin, TX. This full-time role involves close collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams to support core infrastructure services, corporate applications, and AI workloads. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal service quality and minimal downtime through effective troubleshooting and maintenance practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, monitor, and maintain infrastructure systems including network, servers, and storage.
Optimize power and cooling efficiency to ensure a reliable data center environment.
Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and spares for the data center.
Manage logistics of products entering and exiting the facility.
Troubleshoot and resolve data center incidents, conduct maintenance checks and upgrades, and mentor junior engineers.

Must Have Skills
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, fire suppression, cabling).
Proficient in different hardware types (servers, switches, routers, storage), cabling, and optics.
High level of analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Industry Experience:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
At least five years of experience in data center engineering, preferably in large-scale environments.
Certification in data center design (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) is a plus.
