IT Systems Security Administrator (Full Time In-Person)

Description:

Primary responsibilities of this position are: Keep AllCare's core IT infrastructure operating securely within the main office and remote locations spanning three counties. Monitor and proactively improve systems in terms of security. Responsible for audit items concerning our IT security posture. Position is 100% on-site (not remote).

  • Perform security administration tasks including, but not limited to: enforcing workstation and server compliance, monitor and correct security incidents, conduct threat analysis, minimize attack surface, staying on top of new threats, perform user and server level security simulations (phishing campaigns) and report findings.
  • Work with the IT Support Manager in developing IT security policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Responsible for administration security and maintenance of our Office365 IT infrastructure.
  • Responsible for administration security and maintenance of our virtualized VMWare IT infrastructure.
  • Responsible for backup/disaster recovery and security testing in accordance with our SOP.
  • Perform server administration security tasks including, but not limited to: user/group changes, group policies, print services; research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-discipline in the areas of prioritization, project and ticket documentation, organization, team collaboration, being proactive, and time management.
  • In addition, the employee is responsible for other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to weeknight and weekend availability for projects, driving between Stanislaus, Merced and San Joaquin counties.

Prerequisites:

  • Five plus years experience as an IT Systems Security Administrator including work experience with O365 cloud solutions: AutoPilot, Defender, Entra, Exchange, Intune, Purview, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Will be required to work with external security vendors.
  • Class C driving license with insurance in good standing and vehicle in good working order.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, and squat while holding equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to serve as the primary support for enterprise IT infrastructure services including but not limited to: Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Servers, Networks and Telecom (PBX/VOIP).
  • Solid understanding of network equipment and functionality (TCP/IP, VLANs, switches and Wi-Fi).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day instruction and report progress on demand.
  • Preferred support experience with Cisco, SonicWALL and UniFi, Nimble, Trend WFBS, EZ-CAP, Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, Hyper-V and Avaya.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required (projects, maintenance, outages, etc).
