Job Title: ColdFusion Developer

Job Type: Full-Time

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Lead ColdFusion Developer to drive the development of mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will lead a team in building and maintaining ColdFusion applications and will play a key role in architectural decisions, code quality, and development best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ColdFusion-based applications.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including product managers and other developers, to ensure project alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ColdFusion applications and other services using RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Guide and mentor a team of developers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Ensure that code adheres to security standards and is optimized for performance.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
  • Stay updated with ColdFusion and related technologies, advocating for improvements and modern practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Lead ColdFusion Developer, with a deep understanding of ColdFusion frameworks (e.g., ColdBox).
  • Strong expertise in database design and optimization, preferably with SQL Server or MySQL.
  • Proven experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development and service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices for application deployment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a local or distributed environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other back-end languages (PHP, .NET) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture.
  • Previous experience leading a geographically distributed team.
