Senior Specialist, Customer Solutions at XPO summary:

The Senior Specialist in Customer Solutions at XPO is responsible for coordinating logistics and transportation efforts, ensuring delivery schedules are met, and maintaining accurate reporting systems. This role also involves building trust with customers by understanding their needs and providing valuable insights into the shipping experience. Candidates should possess 2-4 years of relevant experience in logistics and demonstrate the ability to influence cross-functional teams for successful outcomes.

  • 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2-4 years of logistics or transportation experience

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Influence cross-functional teams to provide delivery on the expected schedule and take ownership of each potential failure, often asking for prioritization of a particular shipment or preparing another team to perform above standard services
  • Understand your customers’ requirements and commit yourself to the oversight necessary to ensure success
  • Produce daily reports and other customer communications.  Build trust with your customers by providing insights and value to the XPO shipping experience
  • Keep all systems up to date so accurate reporting is available and accurately identify any failures and record the root cause of the failure and the party responsible
  • Provide feedback and ideas for process improvements #PIQ
