TRA Behavioral Health Tech
TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to an outside agency.
TRA Behavioral Health Tech is responsible for facilitating the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in a psychiatric unit orunit with psych patients and assists patients with daily living activities. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients. The BHT may take vital signs, weigh patients and collect routine specimens. Attends and participates in group therapy, knowledgeable and competent to respond to patients with behavioral health needs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION
Minimum 60 hours (college credit) in human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field. (Transcript required); or high school diploma
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
1 year in a Clinical Setting and in a Behavioral Health environment.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE
- CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
PREFERRED CERTIFICATION
- Crisis Prevention Intervention certification. (If you do not have this upon hire, you wil be required to obtain it within 30 days and we willl assist you.)
