Transition to Practice Fellowship at DispatchHealth Management summary:

The Transition to Practice Fellowship at DispatchHealth is a nine-month intensive program designed for recent graduates of Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programs. Participants receive hands-on training and mentorship from advanced practice leaders while gaining experience in delivering mobile healthcare and managing acutely ill patients. This fellowship emphasizes an innovative care delivery model, preparing fellows to connect with patients and transform healthcare delivery in their communities.

How You'll Make an Impact:

As a member of DispatchHealth’s Transition to Practice Spring 2025 Program Cohort, you’ll work alongside other program fellows across the country to put your skills from your Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant training and advanced degree into practice. They will provide comprehensive education, training, and feedback on how to care for the acutely ill patient as you participate in transforming healthcare, one patient at a time. Interviews for the next cohort will start January 2025 and the program will begin April 14th, 2025.

What You'll Do:

For your first portion of the program, you will participate in intensive classroom didactic and skills sessions and receive one-on-one in person training, guided by a seasoned provider while caring for patients in our unique care delivery model(s). Additional programmatic elements include learning documentation best practices, receiving coaching & mentoring, 1:1 feedback, and virtual case study work with your cohort.
