Our elementary school (Match Community Day) is accepting applications for Lower Elementary Lead Teachers (PreK to 2nd Grade). Lead Teachers are fully responsible for the growth and achievement of the student in their class (we have 18 students/class in Pre-K and Kindergarten and 24 students/class in grades 1-5). Lead Teachers are supported in the classroom by associate teachers, special education staff, or aides. The positions are based at our elementary school campus on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park.

We are only able to consider applicants who have current US work authorization.

The salary range for teachers new to Match is $61,200-97,920 and is determined by the candidate’s prior years of full-time teaching experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of employee health insurance costs and up to $150/month in student loan repayment assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Research has shown that people of color and women are less likely to apply for jobs if they don’t believe they meet every one of the qualifications described in a job description. Our highest priority is finding the best candidate for the job. We encourage you to apply, even if you don't believe you meet every one of our qualifications described or you have a less traditional background.

We are looking for Lower Elementary Lead Teacher applicants who:
