Business Analyst

We're looking for a Business Analyst to serve as the vital link between our information technology and business objectives. The successful candidate will support and ensure the successful completion of analytical, building, and management of our asset, software, and equipment management systems.


This position also plays a pivotal role in supporting organizational efficiency and executive leadership. Integral to their responsibilities is the meticulous scribing of meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and dissemination of critical decisions and action points. Beyond administrative tasks like scheduling and ad hoc reporting, this position will often accompany executives to business development functions, facilitating networking and relationship-building opportunities. They are entrusted with managing contacts crucial to new business development, leveraging organizational growth. The BA's adaptability and proactive approach are indispensable, handling diverse duties that contribute directly to the smooth operation and strategic advancement of the organization.


In addition, we are looking for someone who has a special capacity and skill to collaborate with people and process integration. They don't just put together impressive reports and analysis but are also able to effectively communicate the results and assist in determining next steps – in plain language without too much technical jargon – to a range of stakeholders in different departments, right up to the senior executive team.


Duties and Qualifications

A business analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes and data and developing insights into problems and opportunities to advance the company. Their duties include analyzing data using software, drafting reports and proposing solutions, and communicating technical information and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.


• Collecting and compiling business data using software and spreadsheets

• Communicating with different departments

• Creating detailed reports for stakeholders

• Identifying problems, solutions and business opportunities

• Making strategic business recommendations

• Reviewing the organization's business processes

• Presenting data and advice to executives and stakeholders


Skills and qualifications

• Excellent analytical skills and logical reasoning

• Great written and verbal communication skills to successfully articulate their recommendations

• Attention to detail to create accurate reports

• Sound business knowledge

• Great organizational skills

• Good computer skills and ability to use analytical software


Work Environment:

Office environment will include sitting at a desk and operating office equipment including a laptop/computer, printer, and scanner, answering and speaking by telephone/Teams.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a fulltime position which may require some weeks working over-time during training and special projects. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday typically between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
