After six months of employment, some positions may be eligible to apply for a hybrid work arrangement based on job responsibilities, operational needs, supervisor approval, and Dallas College policy.
Academic (Faculty) positions require an on-campus presence, even when teaching online courses, in accordance with state law.

Staff Make an Impact Through Workforce Development Dallas College is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Workforce Development & Apprenticeship Project Coordinator to support innovative workforce training and apprenticeship initiatives that help students, trainees, and employers succeed. In this grant-funded role, you will play a critical part in coordinating projects, managing program data, supporting apprenticeship activities, and ensuring successful delivery of workforce development programs that strengthen our community and regional workforce.
The ideal candidate enjoys organizing complex projects, building strong relationships, analyzing data, and supporting programs that create meaningful career pathways for learners of all backgrounds.
What You'll Do
As a Workforce Development & Apprenticeship Project Coordinator, you will: Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of workforce development and apprenticeship initiatives. Track project milestones, timelines, performance metrics, and deliverables to ensure successful completion of grant-funded objectives. Monitor and maintain participant records, course documentation, apprenticeship data, registrations, evaluations, and reporting requirements. Assist with project budgeting, revenue and expenditure tracking, invoicing, purchasing processes, and grant compliance activities. Collect, analyze, and report workforce development and apprenticeship data for local, state, and federal reporting requirements. Collaborate with employers, community partners, training providers, industry representatives, and internal stakeholders to support workforce training programs. Prepare professional reports, presentations, correspondence, and project updates while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Maintain large databases and leverage technology tools to generate reports, monitor outcomes, and improve operational efficiency. Identify opportunities for process improvement and support innovative solutions that enhance program effectiveness. Stay informed about emerging workforce development and apprenticeship trends to support evolving program needs. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners. What You Bring Knowledge of WIOA Youth requirements, including work experience activities, documentation, compliance, and performance measures. Experience developing employer partnerships and coordinating internships, work-based learning, and work experience opportunities. Ability to coordinate participant placements, monitor worksites, track progress, and address issues to ensure successful outcomes. Strong recordkeeping skills, including tracking participant hours, payroll documentation, case notes, and performance results. Ability to deliver work readiness training, career coaching, and employment support to young adults. Knowledge of federal, state, local workforce board, and Dallas College policies, with the ability to maintain audit-ready records. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with participants, employers, and community partners.
