The Maintenance Technician must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. This 3rd shift position requires a self-motivated individual willing to work safely in a team based system. Good troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis skills are required to make proper repairs. Preventive and predictive skills are required to keep equipment running safe and efficient. A desire for continuous improvement of technical skills and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers increasing demands.
Perform mechanical and electrical duties to keep machines, equipment, and facility in repair.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions for a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Report irregularities, maintenance needs, and quality problems to Supervisor and Crew Leader.
Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Crew Leader in a safe manner, according to all relevant codes.
PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff)
Mechanical systems (bearing, alignment, chains, belts)
Preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery
Strong oral and written communication skills with an emphasis on understanding verbal instructions, written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
Ability to plan work - be able to project the material, tools, and the safest and most efficient means to complete a task.
Present yourself and the department in a professional manner for all internal and external customers while providing outstanding customer service.
