The role of a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner at Allied Digestive Health in New City, NY involves collaborating closely with physicians in an outpatient setting. The NP is responsible for managing health issues, making diagnoses, and developing and implementing treatment plans while adhering to State and Federal regulations. Candidates should have a graduate degree from an accredited nursing school, with experience in Gastroenterology or Primary Care preferred, along with valid NY licensure and a DEA certificate.

Welcome to Allied Digestive Health We are seeking a FT NP to join our family in New City, NY. This is a role working closely with our physicians in a beautiful office setting. This is an outpatient role.

Prior Primary Care or Gastroenterology or Hospitalist experience preferred.

Summary: The NP is a licensed practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations. This position must comply with the standards of care, which include without limitation assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status and clinical management. The practice is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Prior GI, Primary Care or Hospitalist experience a plus
  • Current Licensure NY in good standing
  • Current DEA certificate
