Benefits

Salary: $35 - $40/hr -- based on experience 

Full-time, 5 days per week

Responsibilities/ Essential Function

  • Observe student’s behavioral conditions and report significant changes.
  • Provide care and support to students with mental health or developmental disabilities.
  • Performs specialized mental health procedures assigned by supervisor.
  • Communicates with school staff and family members as needed.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Possession of a current and valid State of California license as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician LPT and must be in good standing.
  • Current California Driver’s License
  • Proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Pre-placement TB Test, Pre-placement Physical Examination, and Current CPR.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US and must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Successfully pass annual competency checks
  • Must approve the request for background and criminal record checks and must be prepared to participate in the drug testing process.
