Responsibilities:

  • Recommend and implement procedures to optimize production operations through the study and analysis of production activities.
  • Analyze and interpret engineering, operations, and maintenance data to develop solutions and improve overall efficiency.
  • Lead the development of visual process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions, ensuring consistency and efficiency across our manufacturing and distribution center network.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with highly knowledgeable functional experts, including both hourly staff and management, to optimize operating activities.
  • Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, and other process improvement methodologies, with a proven track record of leading initiatives and fostering a continuous improvement culture across the organization.
  • Possess a strong understanding of financial impact analysis, KPI development, and metrics measurement tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and effectively manage document version control and revision systems.
  • Experience with standard software programs and tools to produce high-quality work, including engineered drawings, data visualization, process mapping, and document control.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in process improvement roles within manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally to drive organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience in process optimization within the produce industry or related fields is advantageous.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
Working Environment:
  • Work schedule is set however may vary at times depending on business needs or operations. Flexibility preferred.
  • This job operates in a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55°F. The noise level in the
    work environment can be loud due to packaging machinery, and forklift truck operation.
  • Role frequently requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and use hands to handle or feel products, packaging, and/or machinery.
  • The position requires the ability to regularly lift to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, with proper training.
