Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of our patients under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities will involve implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing essential education to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute treatment plans crafted by the supervising therapist with appropriate modalities and seek assistance as needed.
  • Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, communicate regular updates to the supervising therapist, and document all services and progress.
  • Educate patients and their families/caregivers regarding patient deficits and assist in discharge planning.
  • Provide guidance on the selection and utilization of adaptive equipment as well as community support programs.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills and exercise decisive judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant or related program.
  • Current Colorado State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, valid for at least sixty days post-hire.
