About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for carrying out physical therapy programs for participants, assisting in planning and revising program services, and providing education to participants, caregivers, and staff.

Salary Range: The estimated salary for this position is $30-$34 per hour.

Job Description: Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy assistance and experience working with the frail or elderly. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing physician-prescribed physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Assisting in educating patients and families on home programs and activities of daily living.
  • Preparation of medical records, progress notes, and updates to care plans.
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to integrate services into overall patient care plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistance program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly.
  • Understanding of the Colorado Physical Therapy Practice Act as it applies to the role of Physical Therapist Assistant in a Colorado healthcare setting.
