Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has teamed with several prominent and successful companies in the Metro DC area to identify procurement and acquisition professionals for contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for full-life cycle procurement activities
  • Evaluate bids, selects and recommends suppliers, and negotiates price, delivery, quality, and service
  • Review and process purchase requisitions and pricing requests using the purchasing system
  • Manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to terms and conditions
  • Assist in the review of submitted contractor invoices to ensure accordance with PO terms and conditions
  • Provide procurement support for proposal efforts as required
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
  • 3+ years of Procurement experience
  • Working knowledge of varied contract vehicles including FFP, T&M, IDIQ, and Cost-Plus
  • Strong understanding of FAR, DFAR and other regulations
  • Basic understanding of price analysis methodologies
  • Experience in a CPSR environment
