Job description

  • 6 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role developing modern data pipelines and applications for Analytics use cases.
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience with Full Stack web app and web portal development with DevOps practices.
  • 5 years of cloud data solution design experience with PaaS / SaaS applications.
  • 4 years of experience and proficiency with Azure Data Platform stack: Analysis Services, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Event Hubs, Data Lake, and Azure Databricks and Azure SQL Servers to create data processing solutions.
  • 5 years of experience with SSAS tabular models, Power BI, Dataflows and DAX.
  • 5 years of proven coding expertise with SQL, R, Python, Spark, Java, node.js, and PowerShell, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of statistical, data mining, AI / Client techniques (regression, decision trees, clustering, neural networks, and deep learning frameworks, etc.)
  • Experience in Big Data/Hadoop Ecosystems
  • Experience implementing REST services with support for JSON, XML and other formats
  • Experience with performance Tuning of Database Schemas, Databases, SQL, ETL Jobs, and related scripts
  • Proven experience in creating powerful and meaningful visualizations.
  • Working Knowledge of IoT technologies.

  • Solid technical writing and communication skills.
  • Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Learning mindset and Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements.
  • Intellectual curiosity along with excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on errors related to data ingestion, movement, and transforms.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD methodologies specific to Azure DevOps pipelines with Terraform code.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government cybersecurity framework and requirements.
  • Prior U.S. military experience preferred but not required.
