Newly Created Initiative and Role as we want to give our users the ability to leverage AI/ML tools with use of native cloud-based data and advanced analytics

Remote Working Model already in place, Terrific Collaborative Team Based Environment, this role reports to the CTO.

Desired Skills Experience:

  • Experience Designing and implementing robust, next-generation Snowflake-based data platforms, data dashboards and/or data portals.
  • Develop frameworks for handling changing dimensions and maintaining a historical view of tables over time
  • Develop strategic data architecture for new data warehouses used for analytics and healthcare/hospital data use cases.
  • Create data models and schemas that optimize performance and support complex healthcare analytics.
  • Establish data integration patterns for ingesting data from various sources.
  • Design and implement data partitioning and clustering strategies in Snowflake.
  • Develop caching mechanisms for frequently accessed healthcare metrics.
  • Ensure the data architecture adheres to HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations..
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proficiency in SQL Server/Azure SQL and Python for Interoperability with Azure Cloud
  • Current Experience with Snowflake’s Service as a cloud DataWarehousing Platform
  • Strong Familiarity with ETL, Data Modeling, DWH Design and Cataloging
  • Experience migrating cloud and non-cloud data to Snowflake with a solution architecture that is best for a Snowflake implementation.
  • Well versed with Snowflake features such as SnowFlake Data Cloud, Dynamic tables, Snowpipe Streaming, Snowpark, Hybrid tables, Data Sharing, Replication and Iceberg
  • Experience with Snowflake Release Management
  • Experience building extensions to Snowflake
  • Experience directly engaging and communicate with key business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with SQL Server (ideally with AzureSQL) and Python.

Pluses:

  • Snowflake certifications (e.g., SnowPro Core, Architect).
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, DICOM, FHIR).
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in healthcare analytics.
  • Experience with Some experience with authentication and authorization systems like LDAP, AD, and IAM
  • Basic SQL Server administration skills.
  • Experience with other Cloud Platforms (GCP and/or AWS) in addition to Azure
  • Experience with quality and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity.
  • Software Industry Experience ideally in an engineering or technical role experience, ideally involving a complex and rapidly evolving software/product
