Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.
Position Summary:
- Requires strong mechanical, electrical & electronic aptitude
- Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate equipment to factory specifications.
- Programming experience with PLC's, VFD's, motion controllers, etc.
- Must be able to read/understand electrical prints, schematics and diagrams
- Robotic programming experience and maintenance
- Use of various tools & test equipment to perform scheduled & unscheduled machinery maintenance
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Automaton, S.C.A.D.A & web based maint. Programs
- Trouble-shoot, test and diagnose equipment failures
- Use of lifting devices and overhead/jib cranes- Ability to use & operate man lifts, forklifts
- Assembly & installation of new equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Assist with facility repairs to plumbing, electrical and H.V.A.C. systems
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision - Uses principles of 6S, continuous improvement and standard work toeliminate waste
- Keeps tools, maintenance shop & work areas clean and orderly- Effective communication skills written & verbal
- Basic record keeping work order & PM completion, used spare parts and materials
Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
As a Maintenance Technician you are required to work in an industrial environment and outdoors which includes exposure to significant environmental conditions. Physical requirements include:
- Overall stamina
- Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing
- Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, and crouching, listening, and speaking
- Must have good motor coordination skills
- Coordination of eyes, hands, and feet
- Verbal intelligence and numerical intelligence
- The workplace environmental conditions include subject to noise, heat, cold, Injury exposures, and atmospheric exposures
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
